The word counts and the counts of game titles on this page are from one question, cosy puzzle games with no ads, that we asked the six AI engines on 18 September 2026, from the United States and again from the United Kingdom, counted from the answers. The screenshots are MentionChecker's report for a speaker brand: as its owner opens it, as anyone with the link opens it, with the Export menu open, the History list of every check, and a past check opened from that list.

What is an AI visibility report?
An AI visibility report is what a MentionChecker check gives you: one page that says how often the AI engines mentioned your brand when asked the questions people ask about what you do, who they mentioned instead, which websites the answers were built from, and every answer word for word. MentionChecker is a pay-as-you-go AI visibility checker. It asks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot the questions people ask about what you do, and tells you whether your brand is mentioned in the answers. A mention is an answer with your brand in it, and a citation is a page an AI engine lists under its answer as its source.
The report opens on its headline, the share of the check's answers that mention you, with the one name mentioned more often than you under it, when there is one. Then come the three numbers, mentioned, share of voice and average rank, the standings of every name the answers mentioned, the sources list of every website the answers cited, and every question, each opening to each AI engine's answer. The first line says when the check ran, how many questions on how many AI engines gave how many answers, and from which country: in the screenshots, 14 questions on 4 AI engines and 51 answers, because Google AI Overviews gave none for five of them.
Is the report shareable?
Yes. Press Share on the report and a link is copied, and anyone with it opens the report in their browser with no login. The link is made for that check and shows that check for as long as it exists, and pressing Share again on the same check gives the same link.
What they see is the report as you see it, with the brand's name where Latest check was. The buttons that act on the check, Repeat, Export, Share, Track and Exclude, are not on it, and a Check your own brand button is, so a reader can run their own check from it.
The address is random and cannot be guessed from the brand or the date, nothing on mentionchecker.com lists it, and the page tells search engines not to list it. Pasted into Slack or an email, the link shows a preview card with the brand's name in its title and the report's own first two sentences, so a reader knows what it says before opening it.
Can I download the report as a PDF?
Yes. Export opens a menu with three formats, PDF, Markdown and JSON. The PDF is made from your browser's print dialog with Save as PDF, and it is the report as it is on screen with a letterhead, MentionChecker's mark on the left and your brand's name on the right, then the headline, the three numbers, the standings with their bars, the sources list and every answer you have opened, printed whole. The navigation, the buttons and your balance are left off.
The Markdown and JSON files carry the brand and the day of the check in their name.

Can I open a past check as it was?
Yes. History lists every check, newest first, and every one opens as the report it was on the day it ran, with its own numbers, standings, sources and answers. The latest opens the report itself, and an older one opens the same report over that check, headed Check with its date, a line that says a check from that day, as it was, and a way back to History.
A past check has Export, so it goes out as a PDF, Markdown or JSON as it was, and a Latest check button. It has no Share and no Repeat, because the link is the latest check's, so a link never shows an older check's numbers as the current ones.

What do I do with the report?
Send the report to the person who asked. Then open the answers you were not in. The guide to checking your ChatGPT visibility is the place to start if this is your first check. Run the same check again and History shows what moved.
What does a report cost in credits?
A report costs one credit for each question on each AI engine, asked once, and the link, the PDF and the exports cost nothing beyond that. Every pack is listed on the pricing page.

Why not a screenshot of the chat?
Because a screenshot holds one answer from one AI engine on one day, and a report holds every answer from every AI engine you picked and counts how many of them mentioned you. On 18 September 2026 we asked six AI engines for cosy puzzle games with no ads from the United States: the six answers ran to 1,826 words between them, the shortest 203 words and the longest 446. The report keeps each of the six under the question it answered.
A screenshot is also that day's answer. OpenAI's help page says ChatGPT may search the web when a question would benefit from current information, and that its results and citations can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect (Searching the web with ChatGPT, read on 18 September 2026). The answer ChatGPT gave that day is still in History to read after ChatGPT has changed it.

What do people ask about sharing a report?
Can someone open my report without a MentionChecker account?
Yes. Does a shared link change when I run a new check?
No. A link is made for one check and shows that check for as long as it exists, so a report sent in August still reads as August's numbers in October. A new check is a new report with its own Share button, and pressing Share on the same check again gives the same link, so a link already sent on keeps working. History keeps every check, and the newest is the report itself.
Is a shared report public?
A shared MentionChecker report opens for anyone who has the link. Tick Include every answer in the Export menu and the Markdown and the JSON carry every answer in the report word for word, with the AI engine, the question, the names it mentioned and the pages it cited. The option is on the latest check and on every past check, and it is not on a shared link. Your first check is free.
Can I share a report from three months ago?
A MentionChecker report link made three months ago still opens as the check it was made for, because a link never moves to a newer check. Share itself is on the latest check only, so an older check is sent on from History instead: open it, and Export gives the PDF, the Markdown and the JSON of that check as it was. A repeat adds a check to History daily, weekly or monthly, and the AI visibility tracking page describes it.
Does the report say which country it was asked from?
Yes. The report's first line names the country it was asked from, beside the day and time in UTC and the count of questions, AI engines and answers, with the AI engines named under it, on the owner's screen, on the shared link and in every export. On 18 September 2026 ChatGPT listed eight cosy puzzle games from the United States and nine from the United Kingdom, and not one name was in both. A brand checked from two countries gets one report and one History series per country.
Do the report's link, PDF and exports cost extra in MentionChecker?
No. Every MentionChecker report has Share and Export from the first check, which is free. One question on one AI engine, asked once, is one credit. A check of 25 questions on the four AI engines a check asks by default, ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity, is 100 credits, which is the $17 pack, and the smallest pack is 50 credits for $9. Credits last 12 months, and nothing renews.
Can an agency send the report to a client?
Yes. The report's link opens for the client without a login and shows the client's brand at the top, and the report's PDF carries MentionChecker's mark and the brand's name on its letterhead. Neither shows the account's balance or what the check cost. Every brand in an account has its own reports, so one account checks every client and sends each their own link, and the AI rank tracker and AI citation checker pages say what the standings and the sources list on it mean.
